In our rapidly changing modern world, there is a growing need to find local solutions to issues like climate change and global warming. This is why City Council is pleased to host a compelling new film and speaker series, Green City Living, featuring important issues of sustainability. Building on the success of 2008\’s Mixed Greens Environmental Film Series, the goal of the 2009 series is to convey the many options available to City residents to reduce our environmental footprint, and foster a greener and more liveable future.

This year, the City is excited to be partnering with Projecting Change, an innovative organization that focuses on promoting green and sustainable living through the use of entertaining & educational film.

Green City Living will be running from 7 to 9 pm in Council Chambers on the third Tuesday of each month from May to November. Admission is by donation to the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition-North Shore.
