A Dik and Mitzi Production, presented by Presentation House Theatre
Created and performed by Wayne Doba and Andrea Conway Doba
A dazzling musical romance that follows a show business love relationship through time.
American professional entertainer Dik, “Mr. Vaudeville,” falls in love with Mitzi, a French Canadian waitress. Together they take the audience on a comic journey of their story – past, present and future. Theirs is a tale of innocence, connection and miscommunication due to their myopic way of expressing joy, sorrow, and life- changing events. Through song, poetic dance, novelty numbers, slapstick, intricate tap routines, and the support of a nostalgic soundtrack, Dik and Mitzi make the audience believe, like an old black-and-white musical, that love still exists for those who choose to see it.
