Burrard Dry Dock and Lynn Canyon Park

During July and August the North Vancouver Museum and Archives offers free, drop-in, story-filled walks at the Burrard Dry Dock’s Shipyard and Lynn Canyon Park. NVMA’s story-filled walks entertain with tales of war time deeds and daring mountaineering adventures.

At the historic Burrard Dry Dock’s Shipyard hear tales of war time achievement from Shipyard Pals Sal and Sam. Free drop-in walks at The Shipyards are offered Friday, Saturday and Sundays at 1.30 and 3pm from July 8th to August 28th. Meet at the foot of Lonsdale Ave. and Victory Ship Way.

In Lynn Canyon Park, explore the history of outdoor adventures on the North Shore with Mountaineer Pals Max and Molly. Drop-in walks in Lynn Canyon Park are offered Wednesdays and Thursdays from July 7th to August 25th at 1:30 and 3:00 pm. Meet across from the Lynn Canyon Café in Lynn Canyon Park.
