North Shore Jazz is a part of the annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival. The yearly line-up features an eclectic mix of stellar artists at venues such as Capilano University, Presentation House Theatre and the Kay Meek Centre plus free concerts at the Civic Plaza and in the West Vancouver Memorial Library.

JIM CAMPILONGO & THE BROOKLYNITES
Fri Jun 23 (7:30 PM to 9:30 PM)
NYC-based ace guitarist Jim Campilongo fronts the Brooklynites for a supercharged take on folk, blues, jazz and rock.

FESTIVAL D’ÉTÉ AFRO-CANADIAN COLLABORATION
Sat Jun 24 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
The artists in residence program of the Festival d’été francophone de Vancouver returns in 2017 with five vibrant world music artists.

SOULSTREAM
Sun Jun 25 (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
Kick off summer with “Vancouver’s hottest house band” (The Province) and their catchy cover tunes at dance-friendly Lynn Valley Village.

KENNY BARRON: A NIGHT OF SOLO PIANO

ROY FORBES

Both as “Bim” and eponymously, British Columbia folk legend Roy Forbes’ singing and songwriting has captivated audiences for more than four decades.

TIERNEY SUTTON BAND

Superb song-stylist Sutton turns her talents to the Police frontman’s songbook.

STEELIN’ IN THE YEARS

Steely Dan fan? You don’t want to miss this rollicking ensemble of masterly musicians nailing classics like ‘Ricky Don’t Lose that Number’, ‘Peg’ and more.

SONNY LANDRETH

Audiences can’t help but get down and dance to Sonny Landreth, also known as “King of the Slydeco” for his hypnotic slide guitar technique and zydeco grooves.

JOHN BOUTTÉ
Fri Jun 30 (8:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
NPR calls him a New Orleans “musical giant.” John Boutté brings his floaty voice, fierce stage presence and the essence of NOLA jazz to Vancouver audiences.

JENNIFER SCOTT
Sun Jul 2 (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
She’s a rising star, recently soaring out from under the radar with her warm, velvety voice and daring song selection that’s wowed audiences and music critics alike.
