The Canadian Liver Foundation is the authoritative voice on liver disease in Canada. Its mandate is to reduce the incidence and impact of all liver diseases. The CLF provides support for research and education into the causes, diagnoses, prevention and treatment of the more than 100 diseases of the liver. The CLF addresses the needs of patients and their families, and promotes awareness and a better understanding of liver diseases among the general public. Through its LIVERight initiative, the Canadian Liver Foundation provides Canadians of all ages with positive, preventative and practical advice and tools to help them safeguard their liver health in daily life.
