Email Bob Fearnley
During the nine years that Bob has served on City Council, North Vancouver has changed dramatically.
In Lower Lonsdale, where once there was empty lots and failing businesses, there are new apartment buildings and thriving businesses. In Harbourside, which was once an abandoned industrial site, there is the Northshore Auto Mall and new light industry.
Bob Fearnley has been a valuable part of the team at City Hall which brought these much needed changes to our City and there is still work to be done. The redevelopment of Lower Lonsdale has to be completed, we need a new artificial turf field for our kids to play sports on, and Bob is committed to building a new City library.
Bob on the issues in our City
New development and density - Over the last three years our residents have become far more concerned about
density and new development. The team at City Hall cares what people think and is listening! In fact, Council has recently introduced significant changes that will increase and improve the opportunities for residents to get their views across to City Hall. Change is never easy but the policies championed by Bob Fearnley will help to get the public more involved in preparing our City for the future.

Taxes - I have consistently fought to keep our taxes low. The tax and spend policies of the past are long gone and this City gives very good value for your tax dollars. On the most recent tax notices all of the most significant increases came to us from Translink, the GVRD, and other bodies.
Law and Order – The problems in Lower Lonsdale need to be a priority of City Council in the next term. As the former Chair of the Lower Mainland Drug Strategy Committee and Vice Chair of the UBCM’s Community Safety Committee, Bob Fearnley has been in the front lines working to keep BC communities safe.
